La Cañada and Glendale school officials may soon hire an independent consultant to facilitate terms of an agreement over the potential transfer of Sagebrush families into La Cañada Unified School District boundaries, after a negotiation meeting held Monday.
Both parties had previously agreed to seek legal counsel over issues related to a phase-in of student enrollment and repayment of Glendale’s bond indebtedness.
Glendale Unified School District officials were to have discussed next steps in a closed session meeting on Tuesday night, while LCUSD plans to do the same at its next regular board meeting this upcoming Tuesday, according to LCUSD Board Vice President Ellen Multari.
